This is the schematic of the power supply for the now infamous 813 Maul by Tom, K1JJ. There is some big iron here, making voltages that will fry you. Remember, these types of power supplies, and the voltages they produce, only kill once! Please ... BE CAREFUL!!! There are two different high voltage sections shown. One is for a 2.2kV transformer and a bridge rectifier circuit. The other is if you happen to prefer using, or already have, a 4kV center tap transformer and of course a half wave rectifier scheme. You only need one of these. We show two to give you a choice between which ever you prefer. All other components in the HV section remain the same. If you would like a copy of this schematic that will actually print the correct size and do so with high clarity, you can click here. This is a large image so expect to be waiting a little longer for your browser to display it, but it will worth the wait when you print it. Once it has completely loading on your browser, right click on the image and select "Save Picture..." and save it on your hard drive. Once saved on your hard drive, find the file and right click on it. Select "Open with..." and use Internet Explorer to open the image. It should print with the default settings in Explorer on a letter size piece of paper. Select the highest resolution your printer can print at. Hopefully you have enough memory to print it.
