AM RulZ!

Amateur Radio Center

Ever been to a ham radio store where they had a display station set up? Well, this was the station at the Amateur Radio Center in Baltimore, MD, as of a few years ago. Located in the heart of the Hamden section of town, the station was operational on 40 meters thanks to the efforts of Tim, N3DRB. It featured a Collins 30K transmitter, 70E-8 VFO/exciter, 75A-1 receiver, and an RCA 77 ribbon mic in the foreground. Unfortunately, the center went out of business a few years ago. Disposition of the station is unknown.
